The Mandatory PLCT Coaching certification is scheduled for:
Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Jesuit High School in the gym from 2-5 p.m.
The Mandatory Boys Basketball Coaches meeting has been changed to Wednesday, December 9 at 7 p.m. in the Jesuit Gym.
* Please register online. This certification is open so coaches from other sports are allowed/encouraged to attend.
Boy's Basketball: Schedules for the 2016 season will be pubished on the weekend of December 12/13, 2015.
PAL Boys Flag Football Results: Congratulations to Holy SPirit for defending their crown. They are the three time champions for PAL Boy's Flag Football. On Sunday, November 8, Holy Spirit defeated St. Ignatius 20-6 for the title. Special congratulations to long time coach Billy Martinez and his staff including, Ernie Daniels, Scott Gordon and Jeff Solomon. Great job! Also a quick note of congratulations to St. Ignatius and Coach Rich Romo. The Tiger's only loss was to Holy Spirit in the Championship game.
PAL Co-ed Cross Country Results: Congratulations to OLA on the Boy's side and Holy Trinity on the Girls side. OLA won both the Varsity and JV Boy's Championship and Holy Trinity won both the Varisty and JV Girl's Cross Country Championships! There were two new records set. In the Girl's Varsity race, Isabella Fauria from St. Rose set the new Girl's Course Record with a time of 8:18 and in the Boy's Varsity race, Chase Gordon from OLA set the new course record with a time of 8:06.
* Please note that a section of the PAL Guidelines has been updated regarding the hiring of certified PAL/Sacramento Diocese officials. Only the SMOA and Hawkins Officiating have met the finger printing and background check requirements of the Diocese and the PAL and therefore are the ONLY two services available for schools to hire officials for Boys and Girls Flag Football (SMOA) or Boys and Girls Basketball and Volleyball (Hawkins Officiating.) Any questions must be directed to Mr. Gerry Lane, PAL Boys Director. No volunteers, private contractors,other official organizations, etc. may be used for PAL santioned/certified league or tournament games.
