It was truly March Madness this past weekend (March 1 & 2) as Jesuit High School hosted, for the first time, the combined PAL Boys and Girls Basketball Championships!

Congratulations to SI Girls JV Basketball team who defeated St. John Evangelist in the championship game. This completed an undeated season for the Tigers. The JV Boys game was amazing. Sacramento Country Day outlasted St. Ignatius Green in DOUBLE OVERTIME to win the JV Boys Title! In the Girls Varsity Championship, St. John Evangelist (a Trend!?) defeated St. Patrick's Academy. Besides the great game, there was tremendous respect and sportsmanship shown by both teams! it was truly inspiring. In the Varisty Boys Championship, Sacramento Country Day (another Trend!) defeated St. John Evangelist to complete an undefeated season. It was a wonderful Championship Sunday with great basketball at all levels!
